You will see some lovely projects having to do with celebrating freedom and the 4th of July theme and have a chance to win some blog candy along the way, including some grand prizes  which Lisa will be giving away. In order to be eligible for the grand prizes you must leave a comment on every blog in the hop and become followers to all the ladies in the hop also.

Be sure to come back all 4 days because all blogs in this hop will post a new project each day. Lisa will be picking the winners from all the comments left throughout the 4 days.

I have several of the small flags on sticks that are passed out at parades that I usually wind up using as plant pokes because I don't know what to do with them and I can't bring myself to throw them out.. I found this idea on pinterest and decided to give it a try. I started with a red mason jar (from Hobby Lobby..i think). After I removed the stick from the flag i used sticky dots to adhere the flag to the jar. I wrapped twine around the top of the jar. Looking at it now, I think that I would have died the twine red and blue and maybe added a tag. I used a citronella tea light (maybe it will help with the mosquitoes).

The papers are from Creative Imaginations and were cut and pieced to give the impression of a flag waving. I also used Target Dollar spot stickers and buttons from my stash. Thanks so much for visiting and be sure to stop by tomorrow for the final day of the hop.

The fireworks in the background are alcohol inks dropped onto glossy paper and blasted with compressed air. I stamped the Statue of Liberty stamp with green ink and used green embossing powder on green paper because I wanted to showcase the statue's beautiful patina. I also used blue holographic tape as well as embellies from my stash. The star ribbon is also from my hoard.

I am the last person of the hop. If you would like to start from the beginning.
